Pattaya, Thailand

Pattaya is a Thai city on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, famous for its beaches. A quiet fishing village back in the 1960s, it now attracts thousands of tourists with its resort hotels, high-rise apartment buildings, shopping malls, live entertainment bars and 24-hour clubs. Not far from the city, on a hillside, is the Phra Yai temple with a golden Buddha statue 18 meters high. Pattaya has several golf courses with a unique landscape, offering a wonderful view of the bay.
