Antalya is a resort city that is famous for its Old Harbor where yachts moor and beaches surrounded by huge hotels. It is located on the Turkish Riviera, a stretch of Turkey's Mediterranean coast that attracts tourists with its clear blue waters. The Hadrian's Gate, built in honor of the Roman emperor who visited Antalya in 130, and the Hidirlik Tower, erected in the 2nd century, with excellent views of the harbor, are reminiscent of the period when the city was an important port of the Roman Empire.
